As reported by our SBNation sister site Nets Daily, Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks has been eyeing the 2024 NBA Draft. During media availability, Marks expressed interest in trading into the draft if they feel a prospect has dropped into the right position. As Nets Daily notes, Marks has traded into a draft in six different years of his eight-year run as general manager.
The Portland Trail Blazers could be a candidate for a trade, as they have multiple draft picks and are watching for opportunities to bring in talented players. While we won’t know Portland’s actual pick positions until the NBA Draft Lottery, their own pick could land anywhere from first to eighth.
